Day 1: Chandigarh/Delhi – Manali (2050m)

Your expedition commences with an early departure from the bustling cities of Chandigarh or Delhi, setting the tone for the adventure ahead. The journey to Manali unfolds with scenic landscapes and charming towns along the way, providing a glimpse into the diverse beauty of northern India. Arriving in Manali, youll have the opportunity to explore the local culture and perhaps visit iconic landmarks such as Hadimba Temple or the bustling Manu Market.

Day 2: Manali – Bakarthach (3260m): 3 hours trek

The trek begins with a thrilling venture from Manali to Bakarthach, a trail that meanders through dense pine forests and opens up to panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Each step forward offers a closer connection to nature and a gradual immersion into the tranquility of the Himalayan foothills.

Day 3: Bakarthach – Beas Kund (3900m): 3-4 hours trek

The trek continues to Beas Kund, a serene glacial lake surrounded by majestic peaks. This day is dedicated to exploration and relaxation by the lakeside, allowing for a deeper appreciation of the natural wonders that adorn this high-altitude sanctuary.

Day 4: Acclimatization day

Day 5: Beas Kund – Advanced base camp (4724m):6-7 hours trek

The journey advances as you trek to the Advanced Base Camp, a vantage point that offers unobstructed views of the towering Himalayan peaks. The campsite becomes a temporary home, providing a sense of camaraderie among fellow adventurers and a backdrop of awe-inspiring landscapes.

Day 6: Advanced base camp – Summit Attempt (5577m) – Advanced Base Camp: 10-12 hours trek

Today marks the pinnacle of the expedition – the summit attempt. The challenging ascent to the peak is a test of endurance and determination. Upon reaching the summit, take a moment to soak in the triumph and capture the unparalleled vistas before descending to the Advanced Base Camp for a well-deserved rest.

Day 7: Reserve day

A reserve day is strategically incorporated into the itinerary, allowing flexibility for unforeseen circumstances or providing an additional opportunity to absorb the natural beauty and reflect on the accomplishments of the journey.

Day 8: Advanced base camp – Bakarthach (3260m) : 4-5 hours trek

Day 9: Bakarthach – Dhundi – Manali : 2-3 hours trek

The trek concludes with a descent from Bakarthach to Solang Nala, a journey that traverses diverse terrain and allows for a final appreciation of the Himalayan wilderness. Returning to Manali, you have the chance to share stories and experiences with fellow trekkers.

Day 10: Manali – Chandigarh/Delhi
