Sar Pass Adventure

Our journey begins in the charming town of Kasol, where the crisp mountain air and the soothing melody of the Parvati River set the tone for our adventure. As we ascend towards Grahan village at an elevation of 2,350 meters, the trail unveils the rustic beauty of the Parvati Valley. Enveloped by dense pine forests and dotted with traditional wooden houses, Grahan welcomes us with open arms, offering a tranquil introduction to the natural wonders that lie ahead.

Leaving Grahan behind, our trek meanders through alpine meadows adorned with a kaleidoscope of wildflowers. As we ascend to Min Thach at 3,400 meters, the landscape transforms, revealing expansive vistas of snow-capped peaks and open skies. The beauty of this day lies in the ever-changing scenery, from the quaint charm of Grahan to the serene majesty of Min Thach.

Todays trek takes us to Nagaru at 3,800 meters, a high-altitude campsite surrounded by towering peaks. The trail showcases the untouched allure of the Himalayan wilderness, with panoramic views that extend as far as the eye can see. As we traverse through this pristine landscape, the beauty lies not just in the destination but in the journey itself, where every step unveils a new facet of natures grandeur.

A challenging but rewarding day awaits as we conquer the formidable Sar Pass at 4,200 meters. The ascent is graced with breathtaking views of the Parvati Valley, a spectacle that epitomizes the beauty of the Himalayas. Descending to Biskeri Thach at 3,350 meters, we find solace in the embrace of alpine vegetation, creating a serene atmosphere for reflection and rejuvenation.

Our final day unfolds as we descend from Biskeri Thach to Barshaini at 2,400 meters. The trail leads us through the captivating confluence of the Parvati and Tosh rivers, offering a poetic end to our trek. Returning to Kasol completes the circuit, leaving us with a profound appreciation for the diverse beauty that characterizes the Parvati Valley trek – from quaint villages and alpine meadows to the challenging heights of Sar Pass.
